GoGirlsMusic.com is pleased to announce the Third Annual "Invasion of the GoGirls" SXSW party weekend, March 13-15th in Austin, Texas

GoGirlsMusic.com founder, Madalyn Sklar, brings together a nationwide cross-section of indie women in music who will rock three unofficial showcases during SXSW in Austin. All shows are free and open to the public, without any requirement of festival wristbands. This independent event celebrates the diversity and artistry of independent female musicians from all over the country.

All three showcase nights will feature the GoGirlsMusic.com 2003 'Buzz Band', Honey Tongue of Seattle, WA. (URL: www.honeytongue.com). This edgy, west coast rock group has pounded out tour after successful tour and is celebrating their latest CD release, "Take Me Anywhere". Frontwoman Jen Ayers is anything but vapid and plans to rock the showcases with her rock/alt original tunes.

But the fun doesn't end with Honey Tongue. Other confirmations include:

The first showcase will be held Thursday, March 13th at Trophy's, 2008 S. Congress (512-447-0969) from 7pm to 1am.

The second showcase will be held Friday, March 14th at Graffiti's, 2401 W. Howard Lane (512-255-8003) from 6pm to 12:30am. This showcase includes the Second Annual "2 song" night spotlighting 25 artists/bands.

The final showcase will be held on Saturday, March 15th at Trophy's, 2008 S. Congress (512-447-0969), from 7pm to 1am.
